New Community had a table at the Essex County 18th Annual Project Homeless Connect Day on Jan. 24 in the Essex County College Gymnasium. Representatives from Harmony House, New Community’s transitional housing facility for homeless families, provided information to attendees about the facility as well as the many other services available through New Community. The event provides a variety of resources to those experiencing homelessness, including health screenings, haircuts, mental health services, employment services and food.
